My work has taken me into companies, organizations, communities, and one-to-one conversations. In each setting, I have seen that the problem people first name is often not the only problem they are facing. A strategy can look clear until no one is willing to name a conflict. A successful role can become difficult to leave. A relationship can reach a point where avoiding a conversation does more harm than having it.
I know these moments personally. I have had to leave work that was still rewarding me, begin again without a full plan, and learn that a direction only becomes real when it changes how I speak, choose, and carry responsibility for the people around me.
- What is actually happening here?
- What needs to be said?
- What decision or action cannot wait until everything is certain?
These questions are part of how I work with individuals, leaders, and communities. They keep me focused on understanding the situation clearly, naming what matters, and helping people move forward with greater honesty and responsibility.
